When a Salesforce Data Cleaning job fails, users are automatically notified by email. The level of detail included in the notification depends on the type of error encountered. There are two key reasons that jobs fail. They are:
- Insufficient Credits: If you have insufficient credits, this will be addressed in the email. This can be resolved by purchasing additional credits.
- API Timeout Errors: In some cases, jobs may fail due to API timeout errors. These errors are also included in the notification email.
- Data Validation Rules: If, during an enrichment, there is a requirement field that has not been populated, the Data Cleaning job will fail and run repeatedly. Validation rules may need to be temporarily disabled to complete the Data Cleaning job and then re-enabled.
