To assign user roles to users in KYC Protect, please view this interactive demonstration, or follow the below steps: 

  1. On the Creditsafe home page, click on the KYC Protect in the left menu bar
  2. Click on Settings 
  3. You will be taken to the KYC Protect settings page. Click on the User Configurations tab 
  4. You will see your list of users 
  5. You can search for users by using their name or User ID 
  6. Click on the Edit Pencil of the user that you want to change 
  7. There will be a pop-up where you can user a drop-down to edit the user role 
  8. Select your role, then click the green Save button 
  9. The user role has now been updated


If the permissions remain in their standard configuration, then users with the Admin and Manager roles assign user roles to other KYC Protect users. For guidance the standard user permissions, please view this article. If your user roles have been customised, who can assign roles may vary within your organisation.
