For more guidance on how to run a KYC Decision in Check & Decide, please view this interactive demonstration. You can also follow the instructions below.

  1. On the Creditsafe homepage, click on the Credit & Risk on the left of the page
  2. Click on Check & Decide
  3. Click on Run Decision
  4. You will now be taken to the Check & Decide search page
  5. Search for the company that you want to run the decision against
  6. Select the company
  7. Once you click into the company, you will see an overview of the company profile
  8. Below this, there is a Run Decision box
  9. Using the drop-down, select the Decision Model you would like to use. Please note: You will need to have a compliance decision model created and enabled to be able to do this
  10.  Select your chosen decision parameters at decision run time. These will likely be:
    • Match % for Business
    • Match % for Director
    • Match % for Shareholders
    • Create KYC Protect Profile?
    • Please note: Depending on your own model configuration, you may see something slightly different in your own view
  11. Once you have populated your decision model, click the green Request Decision button
  12. Your decision will be processed. This may take a few minutes
  13. You will then get the result of your decision. Your screening results will depend on your Decision Model risk threshold (e.g. if you only have one AML Category selected, you will only see results relating to this AML category).
  14. If you have selected to create a KYC Protect profile, this will be available for you to navigate to.
  15. In the KYC Protect profile, you will be taken to the Open Alerts tab, from here you can navigate through this as you do with all other KYC Protect profiles. Please note: In a KYC Protect Profile, the Open Matches under the Business AML Screening represents the number of businesses that have alerts against them. You will need to click into each business to review the alerts individually. In a Check & Decide result, the Alerts is the total number of alerts for the business, and any associated businesses.

Example:

In the image below, you can see that there are 6 alerts against 3 different companies for Sainsbury's:

In the KYC Protect profile of this business, you can see in the Business > AML Screen tab that there are 3 open matches against 3 different companies for Sainsbury's. These have the alert categories assigned to them, but to find all individual details for each alert, you would need to click View Details. In this case, the 6 open alerts have 6 different AML Categories assigned to them, so we can see that the alerts match up. However, you would need to click View Details if you wanted further confirmation of this.
